A big thank you to everyone who helped make the Shane Gleeson Tournament a success.
To the coaches, referee, umpires, volunteers, parents and supporters who helped out before, during and after the event, your support is greatly appreciated. A lot of work goes into organising an evening like this and it simply wouldn’t happen without people giving up their time.
Thank you to the Gleeson family for joining us and presenting the Shane Gleeson Cup, Michael Doocey for taking photos throughout the evening, Tadhg Ryan for leading the parade with the bagpipes, Thomas Walsh for refereeing the games, Sean Walsh and Tom Barron for coaching the boys’ teams, Louise Peters and Mairead Lynch for coaching the girls’ teams, and everyone who helped with refreshments and preparations.
Most importantly, well done to all the players who took part. It was great to see so many young players enjoying themselves and representing the club so well. Congratulations to the Blue Team, winners of the Shane Gleeson Cup on the day.
Thanks again to everyone who played a part in making the evening such a success.
