Commiserations to the Waterford Ladies on a heartbreaking 1 point loss yesterday at the hands of Kerry. After a thrilling game which was end to end it looked like Waterford just might do it when a late surge from Kerry secured an all important point to lead the game with less than 5 minutes to go. Our Déise girls rallied to bring the game back to a draw but Kerry had shut up shop and packed the defence. 
We are so proud of the team but especially our club girls who represented themselves and the club so well with their brilliant performances across the field. Although they fell just short yesterday there is something big in the pipeline for this team - this hopefully will come to fruition in the coming weeks when they take part in the All-Ireland Series.
