This was a league campaign to remember and it came to a satisfying close for the Waterford Ladies Footballers in Lemybrien on Sunday 29th of March. 

The Waterford Senior Ladies overcame league finalists Galway in a game that, while it changed nothing on paper for either side, said everything about the heart, courage, and hunger of the Senior Ladies . This was football played for pride — for families, parishes, and clubs.

Waterford finish the league with 4 wins, 2 losses, and 1 draw. The margins were as tight as they come losing out to Meath by only 2 points and Cork by just 1 — leaving plenty of reasons for quiet optimism as we look ahead to Munster and All Ireland campaigns. 
A huge congratulations to our club girls - Karen, Kellyann, Clare, Laura, Bríd, Ruby, Summer, Grace and Sadhbh on a great League. 

Next up the Munster Championship begins with an away trip to Kerry on Sunday, April 26th.
